What is a professional Travel + Tourism internship ?

Internships are also available within the areas of Travel and tourism and event management. These are typically within tour operators and event management companies. Most companies in this area are small in terms of staff numbers and you are likely to be working in an organisation that has less than 5 full time employees.

These internships are unpaid and it is unlikely the company will offer any free accommodation or board.

Normally no other stipends/wages/salaries will be paid, however in some cases Internships Thailand may be able to negotiate on the intern's behalf for the company to also pay the interns some stipends. This will typically be between 5000 baht - 10000 baht per month. This is only done upon request and is not guaranteed i.e. interns (at the time of application) must be prepared to complete an internship without any monetary stipends.
